The John E Vistic Rock ‘N’ Roll Soundsystem are a Bristol based dark wave, garage-punk-rock n’ roll band whose influences include The Stooges, The Birthday Party, Rocket from the Crypt, The Cosmic Psychos, Hunter S Thompson and The Beasts of Bourbon.
A regular fixture on the UK and European live music scene, the band is currently working on new album 'The Moronic Inferno’ with producer Tom Hackwell at Bristol’s super cool Coach House Studios. They will also be working with Mikee Goodman (Sikth) on the video for the forthcoming single 'The Sublime Architecture of Death’.
Called a 'cult legend' by BBC Radio 6's Tom Robinson and ‘a towering figure on the UK live scene’ (The Metro), John E Vistic is a singer, multi-instrumentalist and award winning songwriter. As well as vocal and song writing duties with The John E Vistic Rock N Roll Soundsystem, he is known for his role as Creative Director and lead singer of The Beamz - Russian Winter show (Bristol Old Vic) and has worked with artists including Crippled Black Phoenix, The Nurses, James Ray and The Black Hearted Riders and Nick Thayer.
The band has received airplay on BBC Radio 6, BBC Radio 2, BBC Bristol, BBC London, Radio Caroline, Rock Radio UK, Radio Cardiff, Triple R (Australia) and performed extensively across the UK and Europe.
